Central Térmica San Nicolás

Thermal power plant fired by coal, fuel oil and gas located on the right bank of river Parana, in the province of Buenos Aires.
It has an installed capacity of 650 MW and was acquired by AES in March 1993.

Units #3 and #4: Boiler:

Turbine: AEG. Axial flow. Generator: Siemens (13,2 Kv).
Unit #5:
Boiler: Franco Tosi, 195 kg/cm² (1.195 tn/h).
Turbine: Ansaldo. Generator: Ercoli Marelli. 20 Kv- 350 MW.
Black start unit: Alsthom gas turbine
TG. Ms- 5001. 11Kv -25 Mw. Start up motor: Detroit. 500 Cv 12 cylinders.
